So I had my first experience with Mod Podge yesterday! And what's the verdict? It's fabulous! It's very easy to use, quick to dry, and inexpensive. It's a little messy, but not too bad. I can definitely see myself using this on more projects in the future. Oh, so let me explain what the actual project was. I bought a wooden bird feeder from Hobby Lobby to decoupage for Mother's Day. I purchased a few different sheets of scrapbook paper there as well. Other than that, all I used was some cheapo white craft paint and paint brushes that I already had. So this is the before and after:
-click the photo to enlarge- I also used sticker decals to add the members of our family on the little ledges. I admit that part looks a bit tacky but they were too hard to remove after I decided I didn't like them so I just left 'em. In any case, I'm pretty pleased with the way it turned out! Not too shabby for a first attempt (I think). What have you done or what's a project that you'd like to do using Mod Podge?
